僕の制作は、この世界の構造を探究する旅から始まりました。

長い時間をかけて歩き、撮り続ける中で、僕は次第に、この世界が単一の現実ではなく、いくつもの階層を持つ構造によって成り立っていることを知りました。

「夜明け DAWN」では、水道も電気もない富士山の山小屋で600日間を過ごすことで、人間の認識を超えた、絶対的な宇宙と光の存在に触れました。それは意味や解釈を持たない、ただ在るという世界でした。

「自然 JINEN」では、その絶対的な世界の中で、僕たち人間がいかに相対的な現実を生きているのかを、森の姿を通して知りました。自然は、人間の意識を映し返す鏡のように、その関係性を可視化してくれました。

「惑星 PLANET」では、個々の意識が集合することで、時間や空間といった相対的な世界が幾重にも生成されていることを知りました。そこには、ひとつではない世界が、同時に存在していました。

そして、これらの旅のきっかけとなり、僕を導いてきたのは、不意に撮られた写真たちでした。

「残像 photogene」では、写真という物理現象そのものに向き合っています。写真は、意識が現象として立ち現れる瞬間を示し、個人の記憶や意識、相互関係を超えて、すべてを包括する世界へと接続していく装置であると、僕は考えています。

僕は写真を通して、世界を説明しようとしているのではありません。

ただ、僕たちがすでに生きているこの世界の構造を知りたく、問いかけ続けてきたその過程と結果を、写真によって静かに指し示しているだけです。

今、ここに在るということ。
では、この「ここ」とは、どこなのか。

その問いに導かれるように、僕の旅と制作は続いています。

My practice began as a journey to explore the structure of the world.

Through years of walking, traveling, and photographing, I gradually came to understand that this world is not a single reality, but a structure composed of multiple layers.

In DAWN, I spent 600 days living in a mountain hut on Mt. Fuji without running water or electricity. Through this experience, I encountered an absolute universe and light beyond human perception — a world that simply exists, without meaning or interpretation.

In JINEN, I explored how we, as humans, live within relative realities inside that absolute world. Through the presence of forests, nature reflected human consciousness back to us, making those relationships visible.

In PLANET, I came to understand that as individual consciousnesses gather, relative worlds of time and space are formed in multiple layers. There is not a single world, but many, existing simultaneously.

The starting point and guidance for these journeys were photographs taken unintentionally — images that appeared before thought or intention.

In photogene, I confront photography itself as a physical phenomenon. I consider photography to be a device through which consciousness manifests — connecting personal memory and awareness to a world that encompasses all relationships.

I am not trying to explain the world through photography.

Rather, my work quietly points to the process and results of continually questioning the structure of the world in which we already live.

We are here now.
But where is this “here”?

Guided by that question, my journey and practice continue.
